Tara Marlow

In 2011, Tara ditched the corporate desk, emptied her nest in 2017 and travelled the world, full time for three years, working as a travel writer and photographer. Today, Tara lives in Tasmania, Australia, where she has pivoted her writing focus to fiction, writing about women overcoming seemingly insurmountable challenges, revealing who they are and what they're made of. 

In 2022, Tara's novel, Beneath the Surface, was a Suspense Category Finalist in the (U.S.) National Indie Excellence awards.
In 2016, Tara received a Highly Commended Award for her short story, ‘The Wolf in Central Park’, a modern twist on Little Red Riding Hood.

Camino Wandering, Tara’s debut novel, was released in December 2020. It is the story of three women from Australia, walking the Camino de Santiago, an 800 kilometre walk across Spain.

Tara's second novel, Beneath the Surface, is an Australian thriller set in Sydney, and was released in September 2021.

The Decisions We Make, is the story of two childhood friends questioning the decisions they've made, and is set on the east coast of Tasmania. It was released in July 2022.
